RINGETTE: THE HOLE STORY

Here's the Hole story of Ringette,
Besides every Ringette lass,
Pin stripes and teams and rookie dreams,
And such things, all First Class.
There is a center of the game,
First vision in the fight,
The Hole within the Ringette ring,
Proves players wrong or right.

The Hole within the rubber ring,
Is more tricky than one thinks,
Just when it looks the biggest, is
Exactly when it shrinks.

And sometimes holes get very weird,
When players come to call,
For first, holes seem to welcome sticks,
Then don't do that at all!

The Hole is first, the rest are last,
No Hole? No place to aim!
Without the Hole, there is no goal,
And with no goal, no game.
Of everything Ringette salutes,
NOTE THIS: - THE VERY SOUL,
Of Ringette, any way they play,
Rests with….the little Hole!
